Currently listening to Zelda Ocarina of Time Soundtrack and trying to fix my journal Style. The old one was cool but IT WAS OLD! And the text was too small. It hurt my poor eyes.

Ok- this journal will probably be through a couple of layout changes while I try to find a style I like. TBH I don't even know why am I typing this- No1reads this Journal anyway *lol

For now >: 3

Nobody really follows this journal at the moment and I don't blame them- I don't really post much...but that's going to change- soon.

I'm instigating a complete overhaul of my life IRL and OL. The IRL stuff will take awhile but I plan to move certain *ahem* online activities to a new account. Most people in my life know me as "Whutzer Face" online and I'd rather keep certain things separate from that particular name.

Also- I've moved back home and my mothers old PC has photoshop!!! Granted- it's an old version, but it's enough to make icons and soon SFW fanart *squeee*

Also- I'm still looking for a new LJ layout, plus I need to keep the copyright status of everything I post on this blog....

Anyway- I'm tired. I'll make a proper post tomorrow (-_____-) Zzzzzzzzzzzzz

For any fans of Electronic Music- Skrillex is a must! The pic above is actually a link where you can download his first EP for free! Do it- you won't regret it <3

Alright- now time to try and figure out how to change this awful layout.....

Holy crap, I have an essay due @ 3 o' clock today- I am so screwed.

On the other hand, last Monday's House was officially awesome. I wish I could find a proper gif, but I guess it about time to start bailing out the water while I can. I'll definitely post a proper review later, this episode so deserves one!

And you thought your puberty was hell. [25 May 2009|11:52am]
Holy crap, yesterday I sat down and watched "Towelhead" for the first time.

Starring the virtually unknown Summer Bishil, the movie follows a young Lebanese American girl and takes place during the First Gulf War. In the beginning, her mother finds out that the live-in boyfriend has taken a shine to her daughter and yelling ensues and then her nut-job mom sends her to live with her crazyasf*ck father.

Quiet, shy, curious, and completely in the dark, Jasira must learn how to make the difficult transition from child to woman completely on her own in the beginning of the movie; that is, until Melina (her wonderful next door neighbor, played by the amazing Toni Collete) takes the youngster under her wing and offers her house as a place of refuge.

In more ways then one, this movie made me both cringe and yet, as young woman, there were so many scenes that I could relate to myself: the whole period thing, tampons (*ugh), discovering the opposite sex for the first time, and learning the difference between right and wrong.

My only complaint is that the movie seemed like one long dragged out PSA about innappropriate touching; and while child abuse and sexual harassment is indeed a terrible issue that needs to be addressed, I still prefer my PSA's to come from highly animated blue Erinaceinae....

Anyway, overall I give this movie a 3 out of 5 rating for its originality, bravery, and Aaron Eckhart's disturbingly harrowing role as Mr. Vuoso.

Goddamnnit- I tried to update my profile, but my computer froze and shut down or something. I mean, I went to the kitchen to get some more coffee and when I came back the computer was off : (

I seriously need to get my own laptop. I have so many things saved on this computer, it's insane: Icons, Gif's, my own personal pictures, and then there's my music : 3
I mean, it's cool, but this is a family computer and I'm being such a RAM-hog...

Anyway, I gotta start walking to work in a couple minutes anyway, I'll deal with this later!

And that's about it....in one big crazy nutshell.

Hmm, I think I might start revamping my journal later on this week. It's about 10 o' clock in the morning, I'm still in my PJ's, and I gotta be at work @ 11:30.

Man, I hate being responsible......

You fit in with:

40% spiritual.
60% reason-oriented.

Your ideals are mostly spiritual, but in an individualistic way. While spirituality is very important in your life, organized religion itself may not be for you. It is best for you to seek these things on your own terms.
